Heartful singing at Singapore Heart Foundation Charity Gala

Held at ONE°15 Marina Club in Sentosa Cove, CEOs sang for their supper at the Singapore Heart Foundation's (SHF) Charity Gala Dinner 2009.

Themed “An Affair of the Heart”, five guests - Richard Eu, Group CEO of Eu Yan Sang International Ltd, volunteer Lotus Soh, Arthur Tay, Group Chairman and CEO of SUTL Group of Companies, Allan Moo, professional singer and actor, and Cynthia Yim, trained and professional singer - entertained the audience with their renditions of hearth-themed songs.

The performers hoped to raise at least $50,000 through pledges during their performances.

And the organisers aimed to raise a total of $400,000 from the dinner to go towards funding SHF's programmes in community outreach and heart health education.

The guest of honour for the gala was Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports.
