Generous auction, F1 drivers, super glam night for Crystal Ball

The Crystal Ball, held at the Ritz-Carlton Millenia, saw about 500 specially hand-picked guests attend this super glam event.

Hosted by Asha Gill, it was a Grand Prix event like no other with generous auctions of F1 memorabilia aided by F1 drivers and a fashion show by Australian designer Jayson Brunsdon. One of his gowns went for $3,000 in the charity auction.

Proceeds from the charity auction went to the Down Syndrome Association (Singapore).

High bid items include personally signed caps by Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen and a guided tour of McLaren testing circuit that went for $7,500 and a “La Mademoiselle” painting by Chen Wanyi, a member of Down Syndrome Association (Singapore), that went for $3,500.

The highest bid for the evening was a personally signed Racing Suit by Damon Hill from his Formula 1 World Championship period at Williams that went for $10,500.

It was indeed a night of uber style, sophistication and glam.
