SPH Magazines Pte Ltd’s (SPH Magazines) leading women's fashion magazines, Female and Nuyou, presented their annual signature event - the Female & Nuyou Catwalk Collection 2010 right in the heart of Orchard Road.

This annual signature event is the highlight of Fashion Season @ Orchard 2010 (FSO 2010).

At this year's Female & Nuyou Catwalk, 125 gorgeous models showcased the hottest collections from 10 designer labels - alldressedup, Etro, Aigner, Levi's, Liz Claiborne, New Look, T.M. Lewin, Island Shop, Anglomania by Vivienne Westwood and Sonia by Sonia Rykiel.

The catwalk started from within Paragon shopping mall and then out to the street outside Paragon for 65m and back into the mall.

The audience included insiders of the fashion and beauty industry, celebrities such as jazz singer Olivia Ong, models, socialites, stylists, makeup gurus and the foreign media.

This year's Female & Nuyou Catwalk, which is in its eighth year, is part of Fashion Season @ Orchard, a six-week campaign comprising a series of fabulous fashion activities, exciting parties, as well as shopping and dining promotions.

Fashion Season @ Orchard 2010 is presented by the Orchard Road Business Association (ORBA) in conjunction with Asia Fashion Exchange (AFX), and co-organised by SPH.

Ms Irene Tan, General Manager of SPH Magazines, says: "Female & Nuyou Catwalk Collection has never failed to push the fashion boundaries, from staging its catwalk in Changi Airport Terminal 3 in 2008, to the longest catwalk in Orchard Road last year, and now with a 125-model-strong show.

"With the Asian models that both magazines have hand-picked for the Female & Nuyou Catwalk Collection, the event plays a key role in promoting the talents and beauty in Asia."
