The Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Singapore celebrated Kuwait's 49th National Day with a glamorous cocktail reception held at the Ritz-Carlton.

The Kuwaiti Ambassador to Singapore, Abdulaziz Al-Adwani, and his gorgeous wife Afrah Al-Adwani, invited guests that included ministers, dignitaries, ambassadors, socialites and a few media.

Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Zainul Abidin Rasheed - gave a speech on the close relationship between Singapore and Kuwait.

A cake-cutting ceremony marked the celebration of the nation's birthday and guests then enjoyed a tantalising meal of Arab delicacies.
