by AFP|12 February 2012

Hong Kong, China: Hong Kong police have arrested six people in connection with a three-million-US dollar ($4.2 million) luxury watch heist in Tokyo, a report said Saturday.

Three men and three women - all Chinese - are suspected of involvement in the theft of 200 luxury watches last week at a store in the upmarket Ginza shopping district of the Japanese capital, Radio Television Hong Kong reported.

Thieves bored through the shop's walls to get at the watches, Tokyo police said previously.

RTHK said a number of the stolen watches had been recovered in the southern Chinese city.
