BlackBerry launched the newest member of its smartphone family, the BlackBerry Bold  9700, at a stylish launch party at a chic venue: 72-13 on Mohamed Sultan Road.

The party drew a bevy of stylish tastemakers, hip personalities, friends from the media and BlackBerry enthusiasts, all dressed to the individualistic theme of Distinctly Bold.

Heightening the star glamour were celebrities Rui En, Pierre Png, Randall Tan, Utt, Adam Chen, Shi Xin Hui and Brandon Fernandez.

Also in attendance were Chris Lee, Keith Png, Nic Wong, Wykidd Song, Dave Tan and Natasha Liok.

The host of the evening was Denise Keller who introduced guests to the evening's entertainment of a Capoiera display and a fashion showcase from the latest collection from Bread and Butter, featuring international acclaimed brands - Just Cavalli, Pringle of Scotland, Trussardi and Ferré.

Models posed with their BlackBerry Bold 9700s and demonstrated some of its features displayed on a screen for guests to see.

The evening ended with a jazz performance by Fendi and his band and DJ Edward from StereoLab.
