Japanese cuisine in plush settings
by Plush|12 February 2012

Singapore’s long-standing dining chain Kuriya by R E & S Enterprises Pte. Ltd. opens Kuriya Penthouse at the rooftop gardens of Orchard Central.

With floor-to-ceiling glass walls and surrounded by lush greenery, it enthralls diners further with its panoramic view that overlooks the Istana and even as far as Shenton Way and Marina Bay.

Combine all that with a cozy ambience and meticulously prepared meals, Kuriya Penthouse looks set to become the next “top” epicurean spot.

Invited guests and the media were given an exclusive preview to Kuriya Penthouse and what it had to offer.

Its General Manager and Master Chef Yoshihiko Koezuka has almost 20 years of culinary experience.

Master Chef Koezuka believes the essence of Japanese cuisine lies in enjoying nature’s blessings by bringing out each ingredient’s best flavour.

Mr Koji Kitano, or just Koji, is a world-class flair bartender and was invited from Japan by R E & S Enterprises Pte Ltd to manage the bar section of its newly-established restaurant & bar.
