SPH Magazines Pte Ltd (“SPH Magazines”), the appointed publishing agent for Overseas Union Enterprise Limited (OUE), has just released the inaugural issue of MGZine – a magazine covering a mix of progressive fashion, travel and dining inspired by the newly-revamped Mandarin Gallery.
Published three times a year, MGZine is read by well-heeled, highly affluent and cosmopolitan consumers who have a keen eye for quality.
“New and bold” is the theme of the kick-off edition, which reflects the fashion-forward spirit of Mandarin Gallery’s unique tenant mix.
The mall, which has undergone a $200 million facelift, now offers an eclectic mix of 103 fashion, lifestyle and food and beverage tenants, many of which are emerging or cult labels that are new to Singapore.
Among these are over 10 international and local brand names such as Bathing Ape, Y-3 and Ben Wu.
Fashion forms a major part of MGZine, with highlights such as the latest offerings at Mandarin Gallery to hot fashion and beauty must-haves.
A dedicated men’s section ensures trend-savvy male readers stay updated on the latest fashion finds too.
Each issue also contains insightful profiles of prominent local and international personalities, noteworthy taste trends and chic travel destinations.
In line with the editorial content, MGZine’s design is modern and creative, with a touch of the unexpected.
From changing treatments of the masthead in every issue to quirky fashion spreads and playful, colourful applications of typography, all elements come together for a look that is chic and luxuriously stylish yet filled with an edgy, raw energy.
Editor Shamilee Vellu said: “MGZine aims to be a source of stylish inspiration that enriches and excites readers through informative updates that are presented in a creative, cutting-edge design.”
MGZine is distributed to Mandarin Gallery’s shoppers and tenants, as well as hotel guests of Meritus Mandarin Singapore and Marina Mandarin Singapore.
