Montblanc will open the doors to its largest and most prestigious boutique in South East Asia, at the Mandarin Gallery in Singapore, come mid January 2010.

Located along the prominent shopping belt of Orchard Road, the Montblanc Mandarin Gallery boutique will be spread across two levels, measuring a total of 5,000 sq-ft, and will be the brand’s first duplex outfit in Singapore.

The elegant façade of the Montblanc Mandarin Gallery boutique hallmarks a visage that sets it apart from all other Montblanc boutiques in the world - framed by polished tall glass windows and accented by a grand four-metre high art installation, carved into individually-curved glass panels and framed as a chandelier.

Inspired by the elegant portrayal of the art of writing, over 600,000 Swarovski crystals will stroke each glass panel as whimsical nib lines come together to compose ‘Montblanc’ in all its definitive splendour.

Only two flagship Montblanc boutiques will house this mesmerising art installation; one at the upcoming Mandarin Gallery, and the other at the recently opened duplex boutique in Paris’ in Rue de la Paix.

The Montblanc Mandarin Gallery boutique will be home to the brand’s highly exclusive collections with dedicated areas exhibiting the luxury brand’s finest haute horlogerie and superb timepieces, fine jewellery, exquisite writing instruments and leather goods.

Top customers and luminaries of the brand will have exclusive access to two lavish ‘Salon Privés’ where they can indulge in the house of Montblanc with private viewing sessions and served by their very own dedicated VIP staff.
 
Customers will also be presented, for the first time in Singapore, a ‘nib analysis’ service, that will enable them to select the ideal nib size for their fountain pens based on their individual handwriting technique.
