Moët & Chandon hosted a fabulous “Tribute to Cinema” celebration in Tokyo, Japan, with special guest of honour Scarlett Johansson, the Moët Muse.

Moët’s “Tribute to Cinema” theme was held in Roppongi Hills.

The highlight of the evening was the entrance of Scarlett Johansson on the Gold Carpet, who warmly welcomed guests on behalf of Moët, as the Moët Muse.

Following the Moët red carpet tradition, Scarlett autographed a golden Moët Methuselah, to be auctioned in support of her charity of choice.

As she addressed the crowd, a spectacular lighting display lit up the backdrop of the Tokyo skyline in hues of gold.

“I am touched that Moët chose Tokyo, a city that means so much to me, to host this fabulous ‘Tribute to Cinema’ event,” explained Scarlett.

“It is an honour to have been cast as the first celebrity face of champagne!”

In 2009, Moët unveiled Scarlett to the world as the Moët Muse in an international print, outdoor and online advertising campaign, shot by photographers Mert Alas and Marcus
Piggott, featuring Moët and Scarlett as icons of celebration.
