Bang & Olufsen, a company renowned for its distinctive range of quality audio, video and multimedia products, revealed the new BeoVision 4 which has a new, state-of-the-art 103-inch screen.

Not only sleek in design, the BeoVision 4, with a 103-inch screen, is high-tech as well. It comes with a motorized stand that lifts, turns and tilts the television for your viewing pleasure.

The screen will rest only inches above the floor when the TV is not in use, reducing its prominence in the room and concealing all integrated applications. But when the TV is on, it elevates itself off the ground and the integrated BeoLab 10 centre loudspeaker will emerge underneath the screen, moving forward until it is flush with the front frame of the screen.

Be glad the stand raises and tilts the screen for you, the screen alone weighs in at over 200kg. The stand is another 250kg. But don't worry, if you choose to buy this impressive gadget, Bang & Olufsen will survey your wall to see if it is suitable for the weight and size of this structure.

BeoVision 4-103 is suited for home cinema viewing owing to its great picture quality and its significant size. And it incorporates a range of picture improvement technologies such as automatic picture control and an anti-reflection coated contrast screen, which also enhances the viewing experience during daytime viewing.

Its recommended viewing distance is about four metres away so, yes, you would need a large space to put the TV as well as to watch it.

The BeoVision 4 can't be bought off the shelves but is custom-made when the order is confirmed. Be prepared to shell out out $230,000 for the TV, excluding the audio speakers.

The TV comes with a two-year international warranty.
