Following the success of the past three editions of Inside Art, Saporiti Italia presented its research laboratory aimed to create design objects for art and architecture sites inside the breathtaking spaces of Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro Inside Art 09.

Every year, during Milan Design Week, Saporiti Italia proposes to international architects and designers to develop new objects “to watch art” and “to be watched inside art and architectural spaces”.
This year, Saporiti Italia asked to Paul Andreu (Paris), Marti Guixé (Barcelona), Mauro Lipparini (Florence), Eric Maria (Geneva) and Park Associati (Milan) to contribute to its collection of “art benches”. Beautiful interior design objects were exhibited.
Park Associati, an architectural firm that also does interior design, designed "Pamir" benches that experiment the use of new technologies, particularly laser-cutting of different surfaces and materials and the fusion of innovative and traditional materials.

Eric Maria, architect and designer, designed "A way to the heart" - a long and continuous red felt carpet that rises to create a series of seats. Each seat block has an internal illuminator that pulses to represent a heartbeat, to mark the presence of the seats along the long red line.
The results of these researches were presented at Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro, all around the sculptures of artist Magdalena Abakanowicz, in a fusion of art and design.
