Amber Lounge, Formula One’s exclusive party playground, is coming back to Singapore once again.

The party will start all over again when Amber Lounge opens its doors to the F1 drivers and fun lovers attending this year’s race from Sep 25-27, 2009.

The VIP nightlife event proved a huge hit at the inaugural Singapore Grand Prix in 2008 – fifteen of the F1 drivers joined celebrities and race-goers on the dance floor at a memorable party to celebrate the success of Formula One’s first ever ‘night race’.

Amber Lounge founder Sonia Irvine says she knew she had made the right decision to come to Singapore to host the VIP party. “By the time I saw everybody dancing on the tables at 4am I knew that I’d achieved my mission to deliver the best possible party at the Singapore Grand Prix!”

Guests can expect more of the same this year but with a few brand new features.

The sister of ex-Ferrari F1 star Eddie Irvine says, “Internationally renowned DJ ‘Jack E’ is back with us, fresh from a summer spent spinning discs in St Tropez and Ibiza, but this year we will have three additional DJs playing with him each night which is a new innovation for Singapore.

“We’re slightly revising the layout of our purpose-built venue so that we can make even more of the spectacular backdrop of the Water Wall at Temasek Reflection and we’ve also added a beautiful new Moroccan style chill out area. However our signature white sofas, luxurious decor and high levels of service remain the same.”

That service includes ‘access all areas’ passes for all guests and hostess service to ensure that the champagne and drinks awaiting them at their tables does not run dry.

Amber Lounge Singapore takes place on Sep 26 and 27 at Temasek Reflection, Temasek Avenue (next door to the Conrad Hotel).
