OMEGA lovers - good news for you! The luxury Swiss watchmaker is set to open its very first flagship store in Singapore at the ION Orchard on July 21, 2009.

The latest opening marks OMEGA’s 53rd corporate boutique in the world.

The standalone boutique here will have the entire product palette on offer including the brand’s Luxury Timepieces collection, the Fine Jewellery Collection and Fine Leather Goods.

Customers will also be able to enjoy the boutique’s priority allocated higher-end timepieces and special limited edition watches.

Stephen Urquhart, President of OMEGA said, “The opening of our standalone boutique in ION Orchard offers the discerning watch buyers in Singapore a superior brand experience. The continuous growth of the Asian market has led to the expansion of our presence in the luxury watch market here.”

Another first for OMEGA is its fragrance for men – Aqua Terra, which will be launched exclusively at its flagship stores worldwide. The project has been fully developed in-house together with one of the world’s leading perfumers, Alberto Morillas.

Renowned Japanese architect, Kazuo Adachi together with his partner, Hiroshi Yamashita of design Fresco Inc created the design concept of the Singapore boutique. Yamashita most recently designed OMEGA’s latest boutiques in New York and Korea.

The theme of the 1,000 square foot retail space drew inspiration from mother earth’s elements of sun, water, earth and time.

Customers are also welcome to discover OMEGA’s astounding history since its founding in 1848 at the mini-library located in the cosy boutique lounge.
