Boat Asia 2009, the region's biggest luxury boating and waterfront lifestyle event, is coming back to Singapore this year. Despite the less than rosy economy, it is set to offer a lavish weekend of fun.

Held at the Marina in Keppel Bay, Boat Asia will have some of the sleekest and sexiest yachts, powerboats and catamarans.

Amongst the line up is the Marquis 600 Luxury Yacht, which combines contemporary European styling with American counterparts. Decked out in 60 feet of renowned Italian naval architecture, it should be a royal feast for the eyes.

Boating enthusiasts will also get a chance to view the Genova Italy Boat Show's Boat of The Year for 2006 and 2007, the Azimut 47.

Superyachts from leading brand names Bertram and Viking will also be on display.

For example the Viking 50 Convertible, that has a 132 sq.ft. cockpit, a spacious salon and observation mezzanine that was a hot seller at the 2008 Miami Yacht and Brokerage Show.

Apart from viewing panoramic boats, Boat Asia will be entertaining visitors with a taste of the viva glam,boating lifestyle.

La Perla, the renowned Italian fashion label, will showcase their new Spring/Summer 2009 swimwear collection with an exclusive fashion show. Guests can also enjoy scintillating belly dances and various on-water activities which include a floating Grey Goose bar.

In addition Audi will be showcasing their new crossover the Audi Q5. It will be placed, creatively in an iceberg, and yes test drives will be available.

For those who want to get their feet wet, sailing trials will be conducted by Keppel Bay Sailing Academy and RSYC Sea Sports Academy.
