Sexy and comfortable is the Chantelle way
by Sharan Kaur, PlushAsia|30 September 2008

No one understands the sensuality of a woman's body better than the French, so it's been said. Luxury lingerie brand Chantelle affirms this with the premiere of their Autumn-Winter 2008 Collection at the St Regis Hotel last week.

Scintillatingly sexy yet promising to deliver utmost comfort, the latest Chantelle collection is made from a variety of materials including silk, lace, satin and even bamboo.

The collection also introduces the Chantelle effects - uplift effect, plunging effect, shaping effect and full-coverage effect - promising to provide an added lift sans padding.

Chantelle's Autumn-Winter 2008 collections comprises three classic lines - Africa, Chantilly, Graphie and Caprice - and two exotic lines - Rive Gauche and Boudoir.

Africa

Chantelle's signature range (above right), this iconic line offers both fashion and basic comfort items. This season's collection features a python print and flame red colour palette.

Caprice

Something new, something old, something borrowed and something Caprice? This collection (pictured at the top of this page) is geared towards the modern-day bride with a taste for excitement, offering up suspender belts, strapless bras and garters in the ivory shade. This season, Caprice also diversifies from its usual blacks and ivories by offering up designs in mocha/pink and red fruits colours.

Boudoir

Designed to inspire devotion, this lavish collection  (left) features boldly detailed bras and flounced briefs decorated with lace.

Rive Gauche

An easy wear collection for those who stand by comfort as much as style, this collection features everyday lingerie in lace, spaghetti straps and polka dots.
