Apple introduces new iPod Nano 4G
by Luxury-Insider.com|15 September 2008

Apple founder Steve Jobs has unveiled the much anticipated iPod Nano 4G and the second generation of the iPod Touch at the 'Let's Rock' event held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.

The fourth generation of the iPod Nanos reverts to the second-generation Nanos, but with a slightly slimmer brushed aluminium body that is also more curvaceous and tapers off to the sides.

This move could possibly spell the death of the chunkier 3G version. The user-interface has also been improved for easier navigation with an added accelerometer feature taken from the iTouch/iPhone.

To shuffle your songs, simply give your iPod Nano a little jig. A new application called Genius offers song recommendations based on your existing playlist.

The new Nanos come in rainbow of colours, as well as silver and black, with the 8GB priced at US$149 and the 16GB version at US$199.
