ABSOLUT VODKA presents the “ABSOLUT Sophie” mirror - a limited edition collectible.

It was conceived from the partnership between ABSOLUT and Ms Sokkuan Tye, rising illustrator and winner of the “IN AN ABSOLUT WORLD” installation during Singapore Design Festival 2009.

The masterpiece honours the classic cocktail Bloody Mary with its premium quality to bring about the brand promise of “IN AN ABSOLUT WORLD, Every Drink is an Exceptional Experience”.

The collaboration also marks the start to ABSOLUT’s string of initiatives to encourage cocktail culture in Singapore.

As the winner of “IN AN ABSOLUT WORLD, Every Drink is an Exceptional Experience” which incepted in 2009, Sokkuan was presented the opportunity to design a limited edition collectible for ABSOLUT.  

Sokkuan was inspired by the Bloody Mary legend of chanting into a mirror to summon her dark spirit; creating an alter ego Sophie Black.  

The Singapore-based illustrator explains, "I adore people and things in harmonious contradictions. Sophie Black, my alter ego who exists in a world of pseudo reality, is the epitome of such paradox.

"Playing on the well-known Bloody Mary legend, my design of this multifaceted handheld mirror reflects my fascinations with dark, quirky, mysterious yet beautiful essences exuded by both Bloody Mary and Sophie Black."

An exceptional Bloody begins With ABSOLUT VODKA.

To be made with ABSOLUT VODKA, ABSOLUT PEPPAR or ABSOLUT CITRON

1 1/2 parts ABSOLUT VODKA, ABSOLUT PEPPAR or ABSOLUT CITRON
3 parts tomato juice
1/2 part lemon juice
2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon horseradish
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper
