This year's Gilles Peterson Worldwide Festival Sessions, Zouk Edition 2010 (WF 2010) sees an exclusive event for Heineken Green Room members and invited guests.

Heineken will be hosting a private and exclusive Showcase with DJs Gilles Peterson and Lefto on Saturday, August 28, 2010.

To be held at Velvet Underground for invited guests only, the Radio Heineken DJ Showcase will give attendees the opportunity to peek into the minds of these two music luminaries, hear their inspirations and warm up for the second night of the festival with an exclusive set.

This is the second year that Heineken is supporting the Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Festival, which was inspired by the musical diversity of the Gilles Peterson “Worldwide” radio show that is broadcasted in 20 countries.

WF 2010’s line-up includes DâM-FunK, dOP, Dorian Concept, Gilles Peterson, Ikonika, Jazztronik, Lefto and Zed Bias.

Heineken is also taking to the airwaves, bringing partygoers closer than ever before to the upcoming Gilles Peterson’s WF 2010.

For the first time ever in Singapore, Heineken, in collaboration with Lush 99.5FM, presents Radio Heineken, a special edition Heineken radio broadcast that is set to engage music enthusiasts and WF 2010 attendees.

Get into the thick of the action as Radio Heineken, the Official Broadcast Partner of WF 2010, transmits ‘live’ from Zouk, bringing the frenzied grooves of one of Singapore’s most highly anticipated music festivals to the airwaves.

Broadcasting from the Zouk car park on August 27 and 28, 2010, the Radio Heineken studio will be housed within a visually arresting structure resembling a giant radio, with a clear panel for attendees to get up close to the action.
 
From 10pm to 12am on both days, attendees can experience watching music personality, Chris Ho, conduct ‘live’ interviews with Gilles Peterson and the DJs playing at WF 2010, and be privy to other exclusive content and updates.
