The Formula 1 calendar of parties starts with the ultra-VIP Amber Lounge in Monaco.

Amber Lounge also presents Amber Lounge Fashion where the stars of the F1 and fashion come together to raise funds for charity.

Kicking off the weekend is the critically acclaimed charity event, the Amber Lounge Fashion show and auction to benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

With the lavish backdrop of Monte Carlo, Amber Lounge Fashion saw F1 drivers Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Vitantonio Liuzzi, Adrian Sutil, Jaime Alguersuari, Lucas di Grassi and Timo Glock take to the runway wearing Boss in front of a celebrity audience which included Rachel Hunter, Elizabeth Hurley, Arun Nayar, Eddie Irvine and Margherita Missoni.

Monaco is the most prestigious race on the F1 Grand Prix calendar and the Amber Lounge Fashion show has become a highlight during this glamorous weekend.

Held on the beachfront of the Meridien Beach Plaza Hotel, the latest collections from the Elizabeth Hurley Beach, Jimmy Choo accessories and Missoni were showcased by the Amber Models and the wives and girlfriends of the F1 Grand Prix drivers.

Live performances included the world famous girl band Sugababes and a dance act by Flawless.

For the third year running, the Elton John AIDS Foundation was the Official Charity Partner of Amber Lounge Fashion with the charity auction raising over half a million euros ($875,000) during the evening.

Once the sun sets, Amber Lounge opens its doors and the throng of party goers set the scene for an exciting weekend.

F1 World Champion 2009, Jenson Button exclaims, “I love that you can dance like mad then chill by the pool...all in one! Amber Lounge is the best way to recover from the races”.

The next Amber Lounge and Amber Lounge Fashion (for the first time) will happen in Singapore from Sep 24 to 26, 2010.
